Link Crew

Monta Vista’s Link Crew program connects upperclass students with incoming 9th grade students to help make their transition to high school positive and successful. Link Crew leaders serve as mentors and friendly, familiar faces who provide support. They help students new to Monta Vista feel connected to their school community from the beginning. 

Link Crew leaders lead activities, conversations, and provide ongoing mentorship to help 9th graders navigate high school, build relationships, and find campus resources. They model kindness and what a supportive campus culture looks like. 

Applications open to 10th and 11th grade students during March and April. Selected leaders must be available for a training day in May as well as the week before the first day of school.
