SAT & PSAT at MVHS

Monta Vista will be hosting the SAT on March 17, 2025. College Board has shifted this exam to be a digital test and we will be offering this exam to 10th/11th grade students for this in-school testing opportunity.

 

Students are not required to take this exam. Please review your college application plans to determine whether the college/university to which you are applying will require an SAT score for admissions (e.g. CSU and UC schools don’t require SAT scores for admissions). The exam is being offered with the intended audience of 11th grade students, although we are expanding access to 10th graders. Below are important dates for your planning around this exam:

 

The SAT exam is $80 per student ($10 for income eligible students). All exam purchases will be made through the Infinite Campus store. There will be no refunds issued for this exam purchase so only purchase this test if you plan on taking the exam. The majority of students in FUHSD who sign up for this exam will be taking the exam at their primary school. However, there may be some exceptions where students may need to take the exam at an alternate location due to space constraints. Any student with an alternate location assignment will be notified by mid-February.

 

The SAT digital exam is administered through the Bluebook App. All students need to provide their own computer with this application downloaded in advance of the testing date or check out a school-provided Chromebook in advance of the test. Students are responsible for ensuring that their device is fully charged prior to testing.
