SAT & PSAT at MVHS
SAT Dates hosted at Monta Vista for 2026-2027
Students are not required to take this exam. Please review your college application plans to determine whether the college/university to which you are applying will require an SAT score for admissions (e.g. CSU and UC schools don’t require SAT scores for admissions). The exam is being offered with the intended audience of 11th grade students, although we are expanding access to 10th graders.
SAT (within FUHSD)
The Fall and Spring SAT administrations are available only to current FUHSD students. All eligible students who meet grade-level requirements and register on time will be able to test at an FUHSD school. Unless College Board policies change, students may take the SAT multiple times during high school through FUHSD. Registration will take place through Infinite Campus. Please review the dates below to avoid scheduling conflicts.
SAT (outside of FUHSD)
Students may also take the SAT at national test dates, typically offered monthly on Saturdays at various locations. To view available dates and locations, visit: https://satsuite.collegeboard.org/sat/dates-deadlines. Registration for national test dates is completed through the College Board and is separate from FUHSD testing.
Please note: SAT registrations cannot be transferred between FUHSD test dates and national test dates.
PSAT
The PSAT will be offered to current FUHSD students only and is open to all 10th and 11th grade students.

Cost
- PSAT - $45 per students ($10 for income-eligible students - see below) Fees are non-refundable
- SAT - $80 per students ($10 for income eligible students - see below) Fees are non-refundable
- Register through Infinite Campus (IC) - (online registration instructions link, which includes a 4% transaction fee)
