Summer Programs

Finding a Summer Program

There are many Summer Enrichment Programs available for students. A comprehensive list can now be found in your Naviance Family Connection account. Once logged into Naviance, click on the “colleges” tab, then click on “enrichment programs.”

In addition to the comprehensive list in your Naviance account, the College and Career Site has many local and national programs in the fields of: Business and Leadership, Arts and Humanities, STEM and Health.

Monta Vista does not endorse these programs. Students and their parents/guardians are responsible for investigating these programs thoroughly before signing up for any of them.

If you have any questions about summer programs come into the College and Career Center (A-102) and speak with Ms. Parfet!

Letters of Recommendation and Transcript Request

Many of these programs require an extensive application process, often asking for the submission of letters of recommendation and/or transcripts. Please complete the SUMMER PROGRAM RECOMMENDATION REQUEST in addition to contacting your teacher and/or guidance counselor directly.

If your programs requests your counselor or teacher to provide tests scores; AP, SAT, ACT or subject tests, you will need to provide the scores as counselors and teachers do not have access to them otherwise.

Steps for Summer Program transcript purchase:

1. Go to the online student store

2. Purchase the number of Summer Program transcripts you will be needing

3. Print your receipt and bring it to Ms. Parfet in the College and Career Center A-102

**Processing cannot start without receipt**

4. Wait about 5 business days and come pick it up from the College and Career Center A-102

Summer Program questions should be directed towards Ms. Parfet College and Career Advisor.
