Leadership Commissions

Leadership Commissions 2013-2014

ASB Officers:   The ASB officer team is comprised of 7 officers who facilitate the ASB Leadership program to address student concerns, promote high standards and involvement in student activities, foster communication between faculty and students, and provide activities that cater to the students' interests. Each officer has his or her own individual responsibilities but works with the whole team to plan major school-wide events, such as Homecoming, Diversity Week, and all the rallies throughout the year. The ASB team is also responsible for all ASB commission and class officer teams in helping them with their projects and aiding them in their leadership growth.

Class of 2015 Officers: Hi! We are the class officers for the Class of 2015! As class officers, our job is to spend the school year promoting class and school spirit, and uniting 2015 during class competitions, like rallies! We also raise money by hosting fundraisers, fun bonding events, and receiving donations to host Junior Prom and Senior Ball. This year, we will be planning Junior Prom, which will take place on April 4th, 2014. Our goal, as a team, is to make sure every junior at Monta Vista feels welcome at school and is proud to be part of the Class of 2015!

Club: Our role as Club Commissioners is to manage on-campus clubs, facilitate connections between the students and clubs, and to regulate the process of adding new clubs. We organize Club Promo Day and Club Food Day each semester, in which clubs have the opportunity to promote and raise funds. Each month, we review applications and work with projected club presidents and offer our recommendations to Legislative Council, which ultimately approves/denies new clubs. Throughout the year, we hope to bridge the gap between new and existing clubs as well as students and staff in various activities and events. For a complete list of the clubs on campus with information regarding each, please visit our Club Book: http://goo.gl/sk46BC
